Plan now to visit the primary battle sites of the 36th Infantry Division in Italy, from the Salerno invasion beaches of September 9, 1943 to the capture of Rome, June 4, 1944. Designed with a primary emphasis on the scenes of combat of the Division, visits will include Salerno Beach, Altavilla, San Pietro, the Rapido River, Monte Cassino, Hill 593, and Velletri.
